WE PROVIDE:
1. A healthy, safe and enjoyable physical activity for persons of all ages
2. Skating clubs provide the facilities, knowledge and an opportunity to participate
3. Provide training and grading for officials and coaches
4. Give parents and interested persons the opportunity to serve their community as volunteers in Sport
5. Train and Grade officials to be knowledgeable decision takers and be fair to all skaters in championship
6. Give skaters the opportunity to participate in the various championships
7. Train and grade coaches to teach skaters and to reach personal goals
8. Create a sport loving generation of skaters who will stay involved in the sport when they no longer participate as skaters

STRENGTHS OF THE ORGANISATION:
1. Roller skating is a very enjoyable sport for all ages and both male and female participants
2. Children and adults find skating exiting and different to the traditional sports
3. Roller Sport has various levels of equipment available to help clubs
4. There are opportunities for skaters and non skaters to get involved
5. RSSA provides a training and grading system for officials
6. Skaters can participate in championship or skate recreationally
7. There are 2 international standard facilities in South Africa
